Things to Remember When Applying

  1. Mail completed application form.
  2. Email a current résumé to s.deitz@sscmusic.org.
  3. Mail two letters of recommendation, academic or professional.
  4. Mail two copies of your audition CD which will include a minimum of two works of contrasting styles.
  5. Pay the application fee either online by PayPal or by credit card.
  6. Mail completed financial aid form.
  7. Mail a copy of required tax forms as specified in financial aid form.
  8. Send a digital photo to s.deitz@sscmusic.org.
  9. Send an email of introduction to Stephen Deitz, Festival Director, at s.deitz@sscmusic.org.

Acceptance Procedure

Acceptance to the Duxbury Music Festival which will consist of an official acceptance and reservation materials, will be emailed to the student on May 14, 2010.
In order to reserve his/her place in the DMF, a student must return the following by June 4, 2010:

Tuition includes program outlined in brochure, a Festival pass (good at most concerts, private lessons, chamber coaching and all master classes).

May 14, 2010 Acceptance and financial aid notification emailed.
June 4, 2010 Deposit of $500
June 25, 2010 Complete payment due.

The Duxbury Music Festival reserves the right to dismiss any student whose actions are determined to be disruptive or illegal. Dismissed students will forfeit all fees.
